Friday is here!
Well, time has flown by. Things are busy. And I am so so glad it is Friday. It is absolutely beautiful today. The sky is blue, the wind is cool, and the leaves are dancing all around town today, just beckoning for me to join them. It feels like fall. It even smells like it. I will enjoy it while it lasts! Today, I feel inspired to take a picture of something beautiful. I think it has to do with this blog. This gal has an inspiring gift of photography. Well, my weekend is just about to begin, so I have to run for now.

close your eyes... and picture this scenario...
Shannon is sitting... a little slumped.. albeit gracefully... in a big old white rocking chair on the wide front porch of an old southern house shaded by massive oaks and ageless magnolia trees... while Aunt Vickie stands over her... fanning her gently with Grandma's old silk fan... saying...
There... there... it's okay... we always knew she'd come back... she's one of us, after all...
