proof that i am a wimp
and proud of it. A few weekends ago I went to help my sister, Shannon move and the very first day we were there I fell down some steps and twisted my ankle. I took a picture of it, unbeknownst to her, of it in case the swelling went down before i had a chance to get home and use it to get a back massage from my husband. I will have to tell you that the picture i took was on the third day, it was worse, i swear. anyway, the whole plan backfired because the swelling, has in fact, not gone down two weeks later. i think it is punishment for having too much pride in my injury. i can't help it. Even when i have a bad bruise, i can't help but look at it 1000 times a day to see if it has gotten worse/make sure it is still there. i am sure it is quite obvious that i have never gotten seriously injured or i might not take such delight in my small ones. I am thankful for that though. I have had enough of basking in this one though. But, anyway, here she is in all her glory..

Hey, If you want my personal opinion I think you are a waste of oxygen. I dont think there should be people like you aloud on this earth. If you have enought time on your hands to whine and take a picture and best of all post it on the internet. This must mean you have no life. Let me guess this is a substantial injury to you, yeah there is your sign that you should probably get of your lazy good for nothing butt and make something of yourself. STOP! wasting our time~!!!

Hey, Brook: No one put a gun to your head and forced you to read this. If you think that by having read this your time has been wasted, you're the only one responsible for that. It's a blog, and blog authors can post whatever they damn well please. It would be wise if you were to refrain from making judgement calls about someone you do not know. Also (I must admit), your usage of the word "our" in the last sentence of your comment really cracked me up. It's like you're trying to be some sort of internet content cop or something, advocating for the masses. Ha!

Thanks guys--- i have been sort of mia lately and had not been able to defend myself!! She must have been having a bad day. And, it was a substantial injury, anyway. (okay, so maybe that's not true, but, it sure felt like one when it happened!!)
