Rubbing elbows with the moon
Pretty isn't it?
I am a lover of words. I know I have spoken on this before. I can not arrange them beautifully, but I can appreciate them when I see them arranged beautifully. My cousin Laura introduced me to Ani Difranco. I am not in love with all of her songs, but she has this unique ability to paint pictures with her words that I truly admire. There is a song, Untouchable Face that. I won’t type all the lyrics because there are some questionable words in it, but I will let you in on why I like this song. Here is a phrase

Home Sweet Home
Well, if everything goes well with a home inspection tomorrow, Eric and I will be moving into a new home on Feb. 26---my birthday!! I hope it does. It is a wonderful house, just begging for us to move in.

I am OFF!
I have one foot out the door here at work, but I wanted to post just a bit. I realize that I have let the New Year pass me by without even a recognition. Not a hello or welcome or anything. Shame on me! SO Happy New Year everyone!! This year I vow to ulitize all that I have around me, my time, my creative notions, my education....the list goes on. I think this may be the best one I have made yet because it covers all ground. I am even going to learn how to sew this year. My windows are going to be dressed this year and that is my solomn vow.

Perplexed
On my way to work this morning, the truck in front of me had a bumper sticker on it that read "I (heart) concrete."
Very strange indeed.
