P-Diddy Treatment
So, there is nothing like sleeping on a lumpy bed to make you appreciate home all the much more. We did not go to New Orleans for my friend’s wedding celebration. We ended up getting free rooms on the MS Gulf Coast so we stayed there instead. They weren’t rooms though, they were suites. I mean with a separate living room, dining room, kitchen, bar, Jacuzzi tub- a total Pretty Woman suite. It was fabulous and we had so much fun. We had Dom Perion. And we rode around in an Excursion Limo all night.. Oh, and we had two body guards with us. Seriously. The hotel gave them to us. And we got a VIP room with free food and drinks all night long. I am telling you- I don’t know what we did to impress them, but we must have done something! Actually, one of the girls who was there has this boyfriend who is a sort of bigwig and he used his “powers” to get us a whole lot of free things and special treatment. It was very surreal. I could get used to it. Actually, I don’t think I could. No matter how you look at it, the bed was still lumpy. Mine at home suits me much better. But for one night, I definitely got comfortable being treated like P-Diddy. My friend who is getting married had fun too. We made her do really embarrassing things. I hope she will remember it always.

with a little help from my friends
I will find a great hotel at a even greater price. My friend and I are taking another friend to New Orleans for a little girls getaway (the mutual friend is getting married.) SO---all you Louisiannians-- know of any great places that can fit into a less than great budget? I need ideas quick-we are going in a few weeks!
