He'll probably be mad when he sees this
But I couldn't resist. Look at my adorable husband breaking it down like James Brown

proof that i am a wimp
and proud of it. A few weekends ago I went to help my sister, Shannon move and the very first day we were there I fell down some steps and twisted my ankle. I took a picture of it, unbeknownst to her, of it in case the swelling went down before i had a chance to get home and use it to get a back massage from my husband. I will have to tell you that the picture i took was on the third day, it was worse, i swear. anyway, the whole plan backfired because the swelling, has in fact, not gone down two weeks later. i think it is punishment for having too much pride in my injury. i can't help it. Even when i have a bad bruise, i can't help but look at it 1000 times a day to see if it has gotten worse/make sure it is still there. i am sure it is quite obvious that i have never gotten seriously injured or i might not take such delight in my small ones. I am thankful for that though. I have had enough of basking in this one though. But, anyway, here she is in all her glory..

ooohhhh noooo
I have been holding my breathe in hopes that no nasty spammers would find me. I have tried to be real silent and blend in with every other website in cyberspace, but I think they have found me. Well, one has, and now I fear the door has been opened........

I'm servin it up in 2005
Can I help it if I want this and this really bad? I think not. Who doesn't want to learn how to serve it on the skreets? Who doesn't want to know how to get their swirl on hip hop style?
P.S.- I am serious about wanting these dvds. Fo Shizzle.
P.S.S.- Check out the shorty on the cover of the hip hop video. She is off da hinges.
P.S.S.S- Truth: I had to google "street slang" to come up with the slang aforementioned. I am so not cool.
P.S.S.S.- does anyone really use P.S.'s after 8th grade? And if so, do they blatantly overuse them as I do?

Happy 2005
We will thrive in 2005. I know, I know, that is seriously cheesy. i can't help it. Every year, I try to come up with a little rhyme for the year. i can't help myself, seriously. it is a compulsion. i have been doing this since the 90's. i start thinking months in advance. You would think i would come up with something a little better than thrive in 05, but i'm all dry this year. Anyway, I hope everyone is safe and sound this new year. I spent the day taking down Christmas decorations. I love putting them up, hate, hate, hate taking then down.
So, I finally watched Garden State this weekend. I got it as a gift (thanks Laura!) If you haven't seen it, drop what you are doing and go rent it. It was SO good. I found myself crying at this one part and it wasn't even sad, or a particularly happy part in the movie. I was just so overcome with happiness that i was watching it. Again, cheesy, and somewhat hard to admit. Anyway, go rent it!!!
